You have the right to delete your Shrixa account and all associated data at any time. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
The fastest way. Open Shrixa, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm. Deletion begins immediately.
Open ShrixaSend an email from your registered Shrixa email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered email in the body.
Email UsFor email requests, we will send a verification OTP to your registered email address before processing the deletion. This protects your account from unauthorised deletion requests.
Under Indian tax law, certain financial records may need to be retained for up to 7 years from the relevant assessment year. Where legally required, anonymised or aggregated transaction records may be retained in compliance with the Income Tax Act and GST law. This data cannot be used to identify you and will be permanently deleted after the legal retention period expires. We will notify you of any such retention at the time of your deletion request.
If you are a CA using Shrixa to manage your practice, deleting your account will also remove all client profiles and data you have entered. Your clients' consent records will be retained for the legally required period under the DPDP Act 2023. We strongly recommend exporting all client data before submitting a deletion request.
